Compostable packaging isn't the right answer 96.89% of the time (just made that statistic up, but compostable isn't compostable in your garden and it won't break down in the streets. Compostable packaging means it needs to be separated and picked up and taken to a composting center. Most states do not offer composting. Then it must be broken down with organic materials to be turned into soils sold to the farms.
